THALES Avionics has been early strongly represented in ACARE committees including SIB, IRG and INCO, and is an active member of most working group namely WG1, WG2, WG3, WG4. THALES Avionics representatives took part in the preparation of ACARE’s 2012 SRIA as well as in the current SRIA update.

Role in the project
THALES Avionics brings its extensive market knowledge and cooperation experience to the ICARe project with direct involvement in WP3, WP4, WP5 and WP6.
THALES Avionics is in charge of the following activities and tasks in ICARe:
- Contribution to WP3: assessment of past international cooperation in aviation;
- Participation in the WP4: Technology Mapping in Third Countries;
- Involvement in the Japan, Canada, China and Russia open platform(WP5);
- Composition of the Israel and South Africa profiles and contribution to the strategic analysis (WP6).
